If you have not read George Orwell’s novel 1984, I strongly urge you to do so now.
In the novel, every aspect of one’s private life is known and monitored by Big Brother, the thought police of the superstate government known as Oceania.
The thought police are busy monitoring everything you say and do so they can counter any signs of individualism.
Anyone discovered thinking for themselves is dealt with immediately and often permanently.
According to a report, a series of patents recently granted to Google, would allow them to become Big Brother with the ability to spy on us in our homes, monitor what we say, do, watch on television, search online and even monitor our moods, and this also includes your children.
PJ Media – Google Reveals Plans to Monitor Our Moods, Our Movements, and Our Children’s Behavior at Home – Patents recently issued to Google provide a window into their development activities. While it’s no guarantee of a future product, it is a sure indication of what’s of interest to them. What we’ve given up in privacy to Google, Facebook, and others thus far is minuscule compared to what is coming if these companies get their way.
These patents tell us that Google is developing smart-home products that are capable of eavesdropping on us throughout our home in order to learn more about us and better target us with advertising. It goes much further than the current Google Home speaker that’s promoted to answer our questions and provide useful information, and the Google-owned Nest thermostat that measures environmental conditions in our home. What the patents describe are sensors and cameras mounted in every room to follow us and analyze what we’re doing throughout our home.
They describe how the cameras can even recognize the image of a movie star’s image on a resident’s t-shirt, connect it to the person’s browsing history, and send the person an ad for a new movie the star is in…
Many have already discovered that devices like Alexa and Echo can be used to invade the privacy of a home.
What Google is working towards goes beyond an invasion of privacy and becomes more like Big Brother.
Now consider that those running Google are like those running Facebook, far-left liberals who have already been busy targeting conservatives that use their platforms.
Now imagine what would happen if Google succeeds and Democrats gain control of the federal government.
The possibility is frightening, especially for conservatives and Christians.
