Coming on the heels of an announcement by the American Psychological Association (so-called) that what it calls “traditional masculinity” can lead to social ills from bullying to sexual harassment, good corporate citizen (i.e., business stooge) Gillette has an ad with the same theme.
It’s reminiscent of the now defunct Toys R Us donating to Planned Parenthood. (You’re supposed to kill the competition, not your future customers.)
After telling us, that men need to “say the right thing, to act the right way,” there are clips of guys behaving like Bill Clinton in overdrive and kids getting knocked down on the playground.
No one likes a bully and gentlemen should behave as such. When I was growing up (in the bad old days before toxic liberalism), we learned this from our parents, not some Madison Ave. copyrighter.
Gillette’s ad is the soft-edge of feminism’s war on masculinity. Its tactics include banning toy guns (and giving boys dolls) and contact sports and, of course, conditioning us to always “believe women,” even when the allegations are unbelievable. (In the war on terrorism, we can shoot clichés at the enemy.)
They’re already brainwashing men through education and the popular culture. Someone should tell Gillette that its job is to give us a close shave, not a razor burn from political correctness.
EDITOR’S NOTE: Part of the effort to destroy every moral foundation America was founded on is the tearing down of the masculinity of America’s men.
They want men to cower and grovel at the feet of all women everywhere.
But ask yourself, where is the outrage against the abuse so many men by today’s feminists?
Think about it – it’s okay to blaspheme God, Jesus and the Bible, but not okay to say that Islam is a danger.
It’s okay to speak and attack the institutions of marriage and the traditional family, but it’s not okay to speak out against homosexuality and same-sex families.
It’s okay to speak out and attack those who are trying to protect America and the American people, but it’s not okay to use the accurate term of ILLEGAL ALIEN.
It’s okay to speak out and attack masculine men, but it’s not okay to speak out against feminists.
America is under attack by liberals, progressives and socialists and Gillette has bought into that attack with their commercial.
America needs its men to be masculine, not frightened wimps.
Therefore, I urge you, no I plead with you, to throw away every Gillette product you own and contact Gillette to tell them that they have lost your business because of their feminist driven commercial.
