During a National Day of Prayer event, Major General Craig Olsen gave God credit for his military career.

He said he carries his Air Force Academy transcript with him to remind himself that he is not a “gifted intellect.” He credited God for giving him the skills to fly complex aircraft, undertake nuclear missions, and Iraqi negotiations.

But the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, who apparently doesn’t believe in religious freedom, is now calling for him to be court-martialed.

Franklin Graham responded:  “I guess this group would’ve tried to court martial George Washington when he prayed at Valley Forge.”

Pray and stand with our Christians in the military including Major General Craig Olsen when you call 703-571-3343.

He credits God for giving him the abilities to oversee was put in charge of “failing programs worth billions of dollars,” and sent to Iraq to negotiate foreign military deals.

He posted. “Come on — Whose civil liberties are being infringed on here? They want to bully Christians into silence.”

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation called Olson’s statements “unforgiveable crimes and transgressions” and called on the Air Force to court-martial him. Anyone who helped him should also face military justice, the group said.

Mikey Weinstein, who heads the foundation, said Olson’s speech is “a brutal disgrace to the very uniform he was wearing and the solemn oath he took to support and defend the United States Constitution.”
