The daytime soaps have for a long time been scandalously known for their salacious sex scenes, but in their shameless promotion of the sinful homosexual agenda, Days of our Lives (Days) continues to sink to all time lows. Pardon the mixed metaphors, but the weekday series is apparently engaged in a race to the putrid bottom of the barrel. On the heels of the 56th Annual “Gaymmy” Awards telecast of a blasphemous spectacle of Unholy MOCK-rimony, Days’ characters Will Horton (Guy Wilson) and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) got “engaged” during this year’s Valentine’s Day episode.
Back on November 14, 2012, viewers witnessed their first, and sadly not their last, sickening “gay” sex scene. Freddie Smith, the actor who plays Sonny, told TV Guide, “I don’t expect anyone will think the sex scene is controversial. Hopefully, we’re past that.” Mr. Smith is obviously not thinking very hard, but as everybody knows, the leftist agenda against marriage is nothing more than pure emotional bunk and blindly repeated vacuous buzzwords, bereft of any moral restraint.
For about two years now, Will and Sonny have been one of Salem’s “power couples” (their words, definitely not mine), but now they have finally decided to deviantly tangle the knot. Earlier last month, the unlucky couple decided not to get “married” when Will said “no” after Sonny popped the question. Finally, though, after a long “courtship” in TV Land terms, they’ve decided to up the aberrant ante and take the perverse plunge…and they’re taking societal standards down with them.
Actor Guy Wilson (“Will Horton”) calls it a “dream come true.” Only in the morally bankrupt climate of Hollyweird. Correction: It’s a nightmare scenario that the militant homosexuals and their media collaborators are bound and determined to foist upon the feckless consumers of all things fiendishly fashionable.

According to Mandy Robinson of the Oklahoma City TV Examiner, “Will and Sonny are getting engaged. Fans knew that this was the next step for these characters, but seeing it actually go down is going to be interesting.” Did she just use the phrase “go down” in a statement about a male homosexual relationship? The mental image alone is enough to scar one’s brain for life! And as the “next step” in a whirl-wind “gross-mance,” it has the heads of all decent-minded people spinning.
No word, yet, on when the couple will exchange their vows and once again drag marriage through the mud. But based on the typical soap opera tendency to drag things out, the entranced viewers of Days will probably be left waiting for a while. The producers of these shows love to keep their fans in agonizing suspense. And when I say agony, I mean brutal agony in this case.
Sad to say, but…in the immortal, yet ever so slightly revised, words of Macdonald Carey, “Like sands through the hourglass…these are ‘gays’ of our lives”…unfortunately.
