James Baker served as the FBI General Counsel from 2014 through 2018.
He was involved in both the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email scandal and the Russia probe involving President Donald Trump.
In October 2018, Baker testified before a joint meeting of the House Judiciary and Oversight Committees.
On Tuesday, Rep. Doug Collins (R-GA) released a transcript of Baker’s testimony, saying that the wants more transparency.
Concerning Hillary Clinton, Baker described her actions as ‘alarming’ and ‘appalling’ and that he had argued against not charging her with crimes.

The 152-page transcript is from a closed-door interview that Baker gave on Oct. 3, 2018 in front of a joint session of the House Judiciary and Oversight committees.
“The Americans deserve transparency and they deserve to know what transpired at the highest levels of the FBI and at the origin of the probe into President Trump’s campaign,” Collins said.
Baker was the FBI’s top lawyer from 2014 to 2018, and he held that key role during two high-profile investigations — the Clinton investigation and the Trump-Russia investigation…
The description of Hillary’s actions is not a surprise.
A former acquaintance had spent time dealing with the Clintons when they were still in Arkansas.
He described them as the scariest and most dangerous people he ever knew.
Years later, he still feared the Clintons.
