Another point that proved Democrats were not interested in learning the truth behind the allegation Prof Ford made against Judge Kavanaugh was their bashing of Republicans hiring a sex case prosecutor to ask questions.
Rachel Mitchell has been handling sex assault cases for many years and is more experienced in these matters than most, if not all of the Senators are.
After asking a number of questions of Ford, liberals continued to condemn Mitchell claiming she was a GOP plant.
They are even more outraged about Mitchell now after the prosecutor told Senate Republicans that Ford’s case is weaker than a typical ‘he said, she said’ case and not worthy of any prosecution or trial.
(WDEF) – Arizona prosecutor Rachel Mitchell, who was hired by Senate Judiciary Committee Republicans to question Judge Brett Kavanaugh and his accuser Christine Blasey Ford during the committee’s hearing into allegations of sexual assault against Kavanaugh, questioned the credibility of her accusations and called the case “weak” in her assessment of Ford’s allegations.
In a memo to Senate Republicans, Mitchell details nine main points she says raise questions about the credibility of Ford’s account. She concludes no prosecutor would bring the case, nor is the evidence sufficient to prevail even in a civil trial.
“In the legal context, here is my bottom line: A “he said, she said” case is incredibly difficult to prove. But this case is even weaker than that,” wrote Mitchell…
What Democrats fail to consider is that Ford provided no evidence to corroborate her accusation.
Even Ford’s best friend who was supposedly at the party has signed a legal affidavit saying she has no recollection of such a party and that she never knew Brett Kavanaugh.
Kavanaugh did provide evidence of his innocence, but Democrats refused to accept his hard evidence in favor of her weaker than a ‘he said, she said’ accusation.
No, Democrats aren’t interested in justice as they claim
Their only goal is block Kavanaugh’s confirmation by whatever means possible.
