An Evil Quote to Remember

Barb Wire

As we struggle to understand why, why, why the leaders of the Western world are so hell-bent on destroying every last vestige of sexual morality, it may be helpful to bear in mind this quote by Aldous Huxley, best known as the author of Brave New World:

“We objected to the morality [Christian morality] because it interfered with our sexual freedom… There was an admirably simple method of confuting these people [Christians] and justifying ourselves in our erotic revolt: we would deny that the world had any meaning whatever.”

What a putz. But you can’t say his advice hasn’t been followed to the letter. At least Huxley was honest enough to stress the profoundly anti-Christian nature of his enterprise. His successors today are as immoral as he was, but also hypocrites.
