Many believe that if Special Council Robert Mueller had any solid evidence against President Donald Trump that he would have made it known by now or taken some kind of action.
The silence of Mueller is seen by many to support Trump’s claims of no collusion.
This leaves Democrats in a pickle because they desperately want to find something, anything, that they can use against Trump in hopes of impeaching him and removing him from Office.
Now that Democrats have control of the House and all of the House committees, they have cast out numerous inquiries and investigations like a hungry fisherman casting his net over open water, hoping to find anything.
Fox News – Dem probes cast wide net with requests to WikiLeaks, NRA, Putin translators, Trump Organization – Congressional Democrats are now drilling deep into virtually every aspect of President Trump’s administration and business ventures — as well as his connections to organizations ranging from the National Rifle Association (NRA) to WikiLeaks — with a sweeping, concerted series of multi-pronged committee investigations.
The newly announced probes, in turn, have prompted a fiery response from the president, who accused committee chairmen on Tuesday of going “crazy” with document requests he likened to harassment and a “big, fat, fishing expedition.”
“Now that they realize the only Collusion with Russia was done by Crooked Hillary Clinton & the Democrats, Nadler, Schiff and the Dem heads of the Committees have gone stone cold CRAZY. 81 letter sent to innocent people to harass them. They won’t get ANYTHING done for our Country!” Trump tweeted…
Frankly, Republicans blew their chances when they have control of both the House and Senate.
That’s when they should have launched their investigations into Clinton, Holder, Comey, Lynch, Biden, Mueller, and others who have been named in illegal or unethical actions.
Instead, Republicans squandered their opportunity, a mistake that Democrats are not making.
But what Democrats are doing now seems like a act of desperation and not an act of legal common sense.
