Considering the history of political gaffes made by former Vice President Joe Biden, it seems that referring to him as a bumbling fool is more than accurate and appropriate.
So, how serious does anyone take it when the Democrats’ top bumbling fool tries to insult President Donald Trump by calling him a clown?
Kind of reminds one of the old saying about the pot calling the kettle black, doesn’t it?
Fox News – Biden labels Trump a ‘clown’ during campaign stop in South Carolina – Former Vice President Joe Biden took a page out of President Trump’s playbook on Saturday when asked at a South Carolina fundraiser if he had a nickname for the president.
The 2020 Democratic presidential front-runner said he didn’t want to get down in the mud with Trump, but if he had to choose a moniker for the current White House occupant it would be a “clown.”
“There’s so many nicknames I’m inclined to give this guy,” Biden said, according to Politico. “You can just start with clown.”
Trump, who, during his 2016 presidential run, famously began doling out nicknames like “Crooked” Hillary Clinton, “Lyin” Ted Cruz and “Low Energy” Jeb Bush – has labeled Biden as “Sleepy Joe” when the former vice president declared his White House bid in April…
Don’t forget that the one calling Trump a clown is the same person who, just a week ago, said that there was not a whisper of a scandal during the Barack Obama administration.
So, how does Biden classify things like Operation Fast and Furious, the handling of the Benghazi attack, the IRS targeting of tea party and conservatives, the spying on the Trump campaign, the Hillary Clinton email issue, the Uranium One Deal and the Clinton pay-to-play issue, to name just a few of the many scandals that plagued the Obama-Biden administration?
To claim that there were no hints of scandal during his 8-years as Vice President is obviously the musings of a bumbling food or a pathological liar – perhaps both.
Either way, Biden is not in a position to call Trump names, as he needs to clean up his own house before casting dirt on someone else’s.
