Democrat Hypocrisy of Brett Kavanaugh compared to Bill Clinton

Democrats are all up in a stir over an unverified 30-year old allegation of sexual misconduct of Brett Kavanaugh when he was in high school. He is accused of being stumbling drunk at a party and then forcing Christine Blasey Ford, also a high school student attending the party, onto a bed, trying to take her clothes off but then groping her through her clothes.

I was watching an interview with Ford’s attorney, who said that Kavanaugh was stumbling drunk but Ford only had 1 beer. Right! That right there is hard to believe. How many times have law enforcement officers been told by drunk drivers that they only had 1 beer or 1 drink?

In college, I had the opportunity to ride with Phoenix police a couple of nights for a class and I’ll never forget the girl they pulled over for drunk driving. Her car was swerving all over when they pulled her over. She could barely stand up when she got out of her car and then, very loudly, told the officers:

“Offishur, I’m not impwaired. I shware I only drunk one bweer.”

However, back to the allegation made against Kavanaugh. What every Democrat forgets is their overwhelming support and defense of Bill Clinton back when he was President.

It was proven that Clinton committed adultery while President and he lied about it under oath. It all started with Paula Jones filing a sexual harassment lawsuit against then Arkansas Governor Bill Clinton. Then it was revealed that Clinton had oral sex with Monica Lewinski in the Oval Office. That became known after Linda Tripp secretly recorded conversations she had with Lewinsky.

Clinton was eventually charged with two counts of perjury, abuse of power and obstruction of justice. He was impeached by the House, who found Clinton guilty of obstruction of justice and one count of perjury. The House failed to convict Clinton on the other charge of perjury or the charge of abuse of power.

The two charges the House convicted him of, were then taken up by the Senate. If found guilty by the Senate, chances are that Clinton would have been removed from office. Unfortunately, the Senate could not muster the two-thirds vote necessary to convict Clinton and he remained in office.

All through the impeachment proceedings of Clinton, congressional Democrats constantly defended him. Many said that his private life should have no bearing on his serving as president. Even Hillary Clinton stood by her unfaithful husband and defended him and his adulterous actions.

Now, Democrats are claiming that an unproven allegation of sexual misconduct while in high school is sufficient grounds to prevent Brett Kavanaugh from serving on the US Supreme Court.

Consider the hypocrisy here. They defended Clinton’s proven adultery and says it has no bearing on his public service but then say that the allegation against Kavanaugh should be sufficient grounds to stop his confirmation.

The real issue isn’t the allegation against Kavanaugh, but the fact that he has a reputation of ruling on the Constitution and not agenda and since the Constitution is an enemy to most Democrats, they will use any excuse to prevent Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
