From the moment it was announced that Donald Trump had won the 2016 presidential election, Democrats began accusing Trump of colluding with Russia to interfere with the election.
Democrats knew about the Russian meddling months before the election, but said nothing about it, nor did they take any action to stop or prevent it.
It was only AFTER Trump won that suddenly the Russian interference became an issue and that Trump and his campaign colluded with Russia.
Yet, in the over 200 pages of former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony before several House committees, Comey claims that Trump was not among those originally targeted in the Russia probe.
Fox News – Comey says Trump wasn’t among ‘four Americans’ targeted in FBI probe – An FBI counterintelligence probe into Russia meddling in the 2016 presidential election initially targeted “four Americans,” but not Republican nominee Donald Trump nor his campaign, according to former FBI Director James Comey.
The news was revealed Saturday in a 235-page transcript published by House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., and House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., after hours of closed-door testimony by Comey on Friday.
Comey said “at least some” of the people targeted were affiliated with the Trump campaign in some form, but Trump himself was not under investigation into whether the four individuals colluded with Russia to tip the election in Trump’s favor…
If most Democrats were already accusing Donald Trump and his campaign of colluding with Russia to influence the 2016 election, then one has to wonder if Comey was telling truth about Trump not being targeted?
Trump was already named as the prime target by his opponents which makes one believe that he was the prime target in the Russia probe and that Trump has been the prime target of Mueller’s investigation.
Comey has lied in the past and one can only conclude that he is likely lying again.
