Over the past few years, I’ve asked a number of people who they think THE most liberal, far-left news network is.
Virtually everyone instantly responds that it’s CNN, followed closely by MSNBC and CBS.
Marc Lamont Hill attended a meeting at the United Nations and while there, he spewed his anti-Israel venom that some described as ‘a dog whistle advocating the elimination of Israel.’
Even though the United Nations has been siding more with terroristic Palestinians over Israel, Hill’s comments soon drew a substantial amount of backlash for the network.
CNN announced Thursday that Hill was no longer working for the network.
Fox News – CNN drops Marc Lamont Hill after anti-Israel remarks at UN spark backlash – CNN announced Thursday that it had fired commentator Marc Lamont Hill after he gave a speech at the United Nations in which he used language critics describe as a dog whistle advocating the elimination of Israel.
“Marc Lamont Hill is no longer under contract with CNN,” a spokesperson for the cable network told Fox News.
Hill had come under criticism for his remarks during a Wednesday meeting of the Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People in observance of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. He accused the Israeli government of “normalizing settler colonialism” and called for a “free Palestine from the river to the sea,” a remark that got applause from participating diplomats.
At one point, Hill poured himself some water and told participants that he just got off a flight from “Palestine” and that “I was boycotting the Israeli water so I was unable to quench my thirst.” …
Hill tried to defend his comments by saying that he was speaking about the need to return to the boundaries that existed prior to the 6 Day War in 1967.
That’s a lie based on his statement of a free Palestine from the river to the sea.
This is a common Palestinian phrase that refers to the destruction and elimination of Israel from the entire region.
People like Hill fail to realize that the area won by Israel in the 6 Day War is who boundaries have changed for centuries.
Based on his philosophy, the United States should return Florida and Puerto Rico to Spain since the US obtained them via a war.
Hill and others like him that focus on Israel and the land they conquered, which originally belonged to Israel centuries before Muhammad was born, are only exhibiting their anti-Semitic bias, discrimination and bigotry.
