A couple of years ago Starbucks CEO, Howard Schultz, announced that if you were a Christian, that you might want to sell your Starbucks shares because from then on ‘Buckies” would be putting “X” number of cents from every cup-a-Joe sold, to a legal campaign to have the traditional definition of marriage changed in the US.
He broke my heart.
The only recreational drug I have ever used and almost overdosed on came in a jiffy marker monogrammed clear plastic cup with a sticker identifying an “Iced Americano” in it. Literally, after finishing one, I could’ve circled the Arctic in only my ‘Tighty Whities’.
But the mighty cold Americano had been ripped from my hands like a suckling infant, and like Popeye without the spinach, I found myself like any other lethargic mortal in the AM.
Fast forward to today and it is not just the local Starbucks’ that I must pass by in order not to be indirectly funding same sex unions, but it’s many companies that I must weed out of my everyday purchases, because of these Planned Parent-hoods.
Yes, the modern day legalized Jack the Rippers of the USA, it seems, have been funded by a whole slew of charities and products that the everyday consumer may find on their pantry shelves or given to out of good will.
The list is long and I have to say, I’m shocked. I really don’t think there is any excuse for a company to not know what PP is generally about, I think it’s just that the picture of abortion cloaked under the term “women’s health services” is supposedly a lot more socially acceptable, than being identified with Baby Parts Harvesters. Like let’s face it, human parts harvesters are among the most grotesque villains in ‘Un-Holywood’! And yet, here they are, up till lately, receiving government funding to divide up baby cadavers to sell their innards.
Right away, a number of companies decided (realistically not because of moral reasons) to pull funding and deny any real historical partnerships with Frankenstein’s Labs. But what about the others who haven’t?
What about the companies who have remained silent, even after a number of watch groups have identified them as past and present supporters.
Coke, right away sent out a statement in denial of a true partnership and made it clear that there would be no more “goat skins” sent PP’s way ever again. But even after being identified, and having their companies names posted on the World Wide Web, many if not most have remained silent about their now (if funding continues, not indirect support anymore) direct involvement in killing babies in the womb; chopping them in pieces and selling their organs!
That means that each time a Pepsi product is sold, some of the profit (no matter how miniscule it may be) is going towards infanticide and baby parts harvesting.
Let’s make this a little more personal:
That means each time you purchase that Pepsi product, you being now fully aware that the money helps in killing babies and having their innards sold for profit are taking part in killing babies.
One has to wonder about such kinds of businesses, especially when most companies go to such desperate measures to keep their images from being tarnished, and why they would not care being so affixed to the image of aiding in infanticide? Truly if the CEO of Home Depot had been caught shooting kangaroos, the world would have come to his doorstep in ‘pitch-forked’ unity, demanding his head on a bun. Craig Menear would have been relieved of command quicker than Kim Kardashian will peal for a camera.
What does this tell us about such companies?
1. They are totally ruthless.
These companies are run by people that wouldn’t their dump their frappuccino on your face if it were on fire! In a world where it really is all about money, here, it is seriously is all about money. Companies like such, would pry gold out of the teeth of dead soldiers to get ahead.
2. They do not care what you, the conservative consumer thinks.
And why should they care? They have been aiding in abortion for years and most conservatives continue to buy their products. They are counting on weak convictions overrun by people’s personal wants. I can’t count how many meetings with other pastors I have had where their first choice of venue is Starbucks, even after I tell them of them aiding in destroying the institution of Marriage in North America. And really should we expect anything less form a company whose mascot is a seducing topless Siren. See how the company, in it’s own words, describes it.
3. There is something spiritual behind such a company willing to kill children to get ahead.
Ephesians 6:12 tells us that our battle is not with physical forces. And so we should treat this as a battle won by prayer, and stepping out in action (faith without works is dead- James 2:17). And so this may take denying your comfort and your taste buds in order to send a message, in order to cripple the demon. This may be stretching this verse a bit, but I think you will get the point:
“Resist the devil and he will flee from you”- James 4:7. Resist your passions; resist buying that product and that devilishly ruthless company may eventually lose the funds to assist in such horrible deeds.
What truly got me was the amount of non-profit organizations that were somehow in cahoots with Planned Parenthood. When asked to donate to a charity, whether at Wal-Mart or the grocery store, I always ask the name of the charity before forking over any green. Thanks to Marlon Barton of Kelowna Right to Life, who directed me to Life Decisions International, I was able to obtain a list of non-profit groups who support PP in one form or another.
Shocked! One of the biggest “gag” reactions from me was when I found out the Salvation Army has even had dealings with Planned Parenthood?! Seriously?!! I worked for them at one time unaware of their horrible philosophy towards babies conceived in rape, incest or those not expected to live long outside the womb long!
You can request a list here.
Truly this will end in many people willfully searing their conscience (1 Timothy 4:2) and letting their passions win, in order to continue in the comfort of tasting or using a certain product. On the other side of the teeter-totter, hopefully some will start buying products from manufacturers who are not involved in such as heinous crimes as now revealed.
I want to challenge the conscience of everyone who reads this to not only substitute a product form this list, with a product from a company that does not support Planned Parenthood, but to take a minute and send a quick message to these companies (especially the ones you have used in the past), showing your disapproval and unwillingness to buy their products from now on because of their support of the ‘Planned Parent-hoods’.

“Coca-Cola, Ford Motor Co. and Xerox contacted The Daily Signal to say they were erroneously listed and had requested that Planned Parenthood take them off its website.”
