Have you ever noticed guilty parties often are quite vocal at accusing their opponent of doing the bad things that they themselves do?
How many times over the past two years have we heard Democrats accuse President Donald Trump of doing the very same things that Barack Obama did.
The big difference is that it was okay for Obama to do those things, but it’s not okay for Trump to do them.
That seems to be the case with election collusion with foreign governments.
However, with no evidence of Trump colluding with Russia, there is mounting evidence that the Hillary Clinton campaign colluded with Ukrainians to help smear Trump and his campaign workers.
The Hill – As Russia collusion fades, Ukrainian plot to help Clinton emerges – After nearly three years and millions of tax dollars, the Trump-Russia collusion probe is about to be resolved. Emerging in its place is newly unearthed evidence suggesting another foreign effort to influence the 2016 election — this time, in favor of the Democrats.
Ukraine’s top prosecutor divulged in an interview aired Wednesday on Hill.TV that he has opened an investigation into whether his country’s law enforcement apparatus intentionally leaked financial records during the 2016 U.S. presidential campaign about then-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort in an effort to sway the election in favor of Hillary Clinton.
The leak of the so-called black ledger files to U.S. media prompted Manafort’s resignation from the Trump campaign and gave rise to one of the key allegations in the Russia collusion probe that has dogged Trump for the last two and a half years…
Okay, so what’s the score on 2016 campaign collusion?
So far, Trump’s score is zero since after over a year and half of being investigated, nothing has been found.
For Clinton, her campaign was connected to the use of a former British spy and Russian attorney, in an effort to influence the election.
Now, the Clinton campaign is being investigated by Ukraine for collusion with some Ukrainians to influence the election.
That means zero strikes against Trump and three strikes against Clinton.
