Common Core school curriculum is linked to more controversy as a second school, this one near Los Angeles, failed to adhere to the state law requiring parents to be notified of upcoming tests and the rights to opt out of the Common Core Assessments, possibly out of fear that families would not participate in the test.

These schools did not inform parents and consequently both are facing lawsuits for violating parents’ rights and trampling on the power held by parents to act as the final authority over their family, to control educational bureaucracy and the hidden agenda exposed in this program.
