A recent study from the University of Baylor has exposed that the claims of increasing atheism are false. While about 40% of the people are not in their childhood denominations, a large majority of these individuals have moved from liberal denominations into conservative ones.

When examining the growing number of those claiming “None” as their religion, 30% could give the name and address of their church and many claimed Christianity isn’t an organized religion.

The study found that the number of self-professed atheists is holding steady at a really low percentage. And while our population has doubled, the number attending church has quadrupled. Right now the world is significantly more religious than it was even 100 years ago.
