This week I’d like you to consider taking the “Cell Phone Substitution Test.”

It involves treating your Bible like you treat your cell phone. Everywhere you carry your cell phone? Carry your Bible. If you forget your Bible, go back and get it, just like you would if it was your cell phone. Go ahead, spend hours hearing what God has to say–no charges apply.

And, throughout the day, when the urge hits you to make a call or check a text…first check out what God has to say to you. You can do with a phone app–or an actual Bible–also great to have in case of emergency. Hearing what’s on God’s heart is a bit more important than the posting of what your friends had for dinner.

So take the Cell Phone Substitution Test–a way to reset our priorities and connect with our Creator.
