The Art of Selling Out

Barb Wire

“God who gave us life gave us liberty. And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are of the Gift of God?” — Thomas Jefferson

It shows how far gone we are that Christians are saying that by overlooking gross violations of God’s natural order they are refraining from legislating faith and salvation. That’s letting the enemy set the agenda and demonic appeasement. I’d rather go down in complete resistance than in failed appeasement. Appeasement and compromise has been and always will be a losers strategy.

This country is waiting for a strong conservative who will support and defend traditional values and conservative ideals. Government should not be bowing to radical fringes and recognizing/legalizing godless practices, nor would God have us support it. I understand we want to win but I’m not going to sell my soul to do it (and that is not what the founders had in mind either). I’d rather become the radical fringe promoting a great awakening, than continue down the road of “loser’s compromise.” It’s a road that has never obtained a victory, anyway.

For once, I’d like to see somebody fearless; a conservative NOT willing to play “not to lose.” That’s what America needs and that would be a winning strategy both in ideology and reality. The media is going to kill us anyway.  Let’s give them so much ammunition that they choke on it!

Let’s not be so eager to become political and spiritual sellouts!
