Kittitas County Sheriff Deputy Ryan Thompson and Kittitas Police Officer Benito Chavez attempted to pull over a vehicle Tuesday night, after receiving complaints about the way the car was driving.
The driver of the car turned out to be 29-year-old Juan Manuel Flores Del Toro, a Mexican citizen.
He was allowed in the US in 2014 with a temporary agricultural worker visa, but Del Toro never left the US after his visa expired.
When the two officers stopped Del Toro, the illegal alien began shooting at both officers, killing Thompson and wounding Chavez.
Del Toro was later shot and killed by other officers.

In an email to Fox News, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) spokeswoman Tanya Roman said 29-year-old Juan Manuel Flores Del Toro, a Mexican citizen, entered the U.S. at Laredo, Texas, in April 2014 on a temporary agricultural worker visa.
Roman said ICE had no record of him leaving the United States or extending his visa after it expired.
Local police said Flores Del Toro lived in Ellensburg, a university city of 20,000 residents 100 miles east of Seattle in agriculturally rich central Washington…
Washington is run by Democrats.
18 of the 39 counties in Washington are sanctuary counties.
4 of the 6 neighboring counties to the one Del Toro lived in, are sanctuary counties.
Ask yourself, who is really to blame for the murder of Deputy Thompson and wounding of officer Chavez?
Yes, Del Toro is, but so are all of the Democrats who violate federal immigration laws by protecting illegal aliens and obstructing their arrest and detention.
As such, it’s time that these Democrats are charged as accessories to the crimes committed by the illegal aliens they protect.
