Amidst Standoff with Democrats Over Border, Trump Has Highest Approval Ratings in Nearly 2 Years

I’m beginning to believe that the majority of Americans are still mart enough to realize who their real enemies.

For the past month and half, the sewagestream media has been working overtime to vilify President Donald Trump, in laying 100% of the blame for the 5-week government shutdown.

Knowing the sorry state of America’s socialist run public education system, one is tempted to fear that the majority of the American people believe the sewage they are being fed by the media and Democrats.

However, the latest Rasmussen Reports poll indicates that not everyone has drunk the media’s Kool-Aid concerning Trump and government shutdown.

Rasmussen Reports – Daily Presidential Tracking Poll – The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Forty-seven percent (47%) disapprove.

Trump’s highest level of approval since shortly after his inauguration.

The latest figures include 39% who Strongly Approve of the job Trump is doing and 39% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of 0. (see trends).

Now that Gallup has quit the field, Rasmussen Reports is the only nationally recognized public opinion firm that still tracks President Trump’s job approval ratings on a daily basis. If your organization is interested in a weekly or longer sponsorship of Rasmussen Reports’ Daily Presidential Tracking Poll, please send e-mail to beth@rasmussenreports.com

Rasmussen also shows that on the same point in time in Barack Obama’s first term in office, he only had an approval rating of 50%, 2 points LOWER than Trump.

The majority of Americans voted for Trump for his tough stand on immigration and border security, including a border wall.

A poll published last week showed that 76% of Republicans favor building a border wall, indicating that it is still an important issue for many voters.

Friends and family that live within 150 miles of the border tell me that everyone they know wants a border wall and more border security, so they don’t have to continue living in fear in their own homes here in America.
