I know there are many candidates for the title of America’s most liberal city but in my humble opinion, no other city comes close to San Francisco for that honor.
The bay city is considered by many to be the home of the hippie craze back in the 1960s and then the home of the modern LGBT activist movement.
It was the first city to have a known district for gays and lesbians, a trend that soon spread to other cities like a deadly disease spreads through the body.
If you want to just how liberal San Francisco are, consider the fact that Den. Dianne Feinstein and Rep. Nancy Pelosi are among the cities politicians in Washington DC.
The city has gone a step further in securing their title as the most liberal city in America be creating a cultural district just for transgender individuals.
Daily Beast – San Francisco Creates World’s First Ever Transgender Cultural District – Honey Mahogany walked down 6th Street in San Francisco, pointing to single room occupancy hotels, the dance and performance space Counterpulse, and gay bars, OMG and Aunt Charlie’s Lounge.
She passed by the Golden Gate Theatre where A Bronx Tale was playing and came to site of the former all-night diner, Gene’s Compton Cafeteria (now transitional housing), where in August 1966 a trans woman threw a cup of coffee at a police officer trying to arrest her, which turned into a riot with trans people fighting back against police harassment, flipping over tables and throwing cutlery.
This event, detailed in Susan Stryker and Victor Silverman’s documentary, Screaming Queens: The Riot at Compton’s Cafeteria, happened three years before the famous uprising at the Stonewall Inn in New York’s Greenwich Village…
Drag queen Honey Mahogany was also named as Compton’s district manager, which pretty much sums up the repulsiveness of what is happening to a once important and historic city.
Someone asked me when God will judge America for the millions of abortions and acceptance of homosexuality and other perverse and sinful lifestyles and I replied that He already is judging America.
I directed her to Romans 1:18-32, which says three times how God turned over a people to their sinful lusts and desires as a result of their sins.
What frightens me is when God brings His wrath down on the nation, because when He does, not even the faithful and righteous will escape it – look at Daniel.
