AG Eric Holder Blasts Boy Scouts for Protecting Children from ‘Gay’ Pedophiles

Barb Wire

Last week, Lambda Legal, a homosexual deviancy-normalizing advocacy group known for its bullying tactics and smear campaigns, held its 14th annual reception at the Carnegie Institution for Science in Washington, D.C. Attorney General Eric Holder, the law-flouting henchman for President Obama’s scandal-plagued administration, was one of the featured speakers, and he took the opportunity to lash out at the Boy Scouts of America as a bunch of homophobic bigots for their refusal to allow homosexual scout leaders.

Hailing Lambda Legal’s work in the 1992 Boy Scouts of America v. Dale case, which challenged the termination of a “gay” assistant scoutmaster, Holder addressed the BSA’s continuation of this sensible policy, inaccurately referring to it as discriminatory. The ban on “gay” scout leaders “only preserves and perpetuates the worst kind of stereotypes” about homosexuals, the Attorney General wrongly argued.

Unfortunately, this statement represents the extremely tragic perspective of the Obama administration’s Leftist hacks, especially when we consider the disproportionate rate at which homosexual males commit child-sex abuse. Therefore, protecting children must take precedence over the “gay” agenda. A change in policy allowing homosexual troop leaders would inevitably put our young boys at terrible risk by creating a pedophile’s playground. So, this “worst kind of stereotype” is actually based upon statistical facts.

The homosexual subculture’s glorification of the young male form and their repeated legal attempts to lower the age of consent should raise many red flags for concerned parents. Furthermore, The Journal of Homosexuality once published a special double-issue entitled, “Male Intergenerational Intimacy.” The publication contained many articles portraying sex between men and boys. One article actually had the gall to tell parents that they should view the adult pedophile who “loves” their son “not as a rival or competitor, not as a theft of their property, but as a partner in the boy’s upbringing, someone to be welcomed into their home.”

Holder, the only sitting cabinet member in U.S. history ever to be held in contempt of Congress, also compared the Boy Scout’s current policy of protecting young boys from sexual molestation with the military’s recently-repealed “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” (DADT) restriction against open homosexuals serving in the military, referring to both as a “relic of an age of prejudice and insufficient understanding.”

On October 19, 2012, a court order forced the the Boy Scouts of America to turn over 20,000 pages of documentation on 1,200 alleged child sexual abuse cases within the organization, covering the time period from 1965 to 1985. Since all of these instances were homosexual in nature, why should anyone be surprised that the BSA wants to avoid a repeat of that debacle?

Homosexual activists typically try to draw a stark distinction between same-sex pedophilia and male homosexuality – for obvious, but untenable, reasons. Both are still homosexual behavior since they each involve sexual activity between individuals of the same sex. The only real difference being that “gay” pedophilia is the illegal form of homosexuality.

For the sake of argument, even if such a distinction actually existed (which I don’t believe for a second), how would the Boy Scouts ever be able to determine the difference? Would a child predator admit to their sexual preference for minor-aged boys or falsely represent themselves as merely being “gay”? Of course, we all know the answer to that last question. So, why is the BSA being relentlessly demonized for simply attempting to protect the children that they are responsible for? Their precautionary policy makes completely perfect sense to everyone except certain homosexual adults who have tirelessly sustained their harassment of the BSA in the hopes of satiating their appetite for young boys by gaining access to this new “hunting ground.”

While certainly not fool-proof, the current policy at least serves to make it considerably more difficult for young male children to be abused. However, the reckless change that AG Holder is advocating for would, in effect, put more children in jeopardy. What’s so wrong with the principle: better safe than sorry?

“Today, courageous lesbian, gay, and bisexual individuals,” the Attorney General claimed, “routinely put their lives on the line as members of America’s armed services.”

“They inspire us, they protect us, and they defend us. If these men and women are fit for military service, then surely they are fit to mentor, to teach, and to serve as role models for the leaders of future generations,” he continued.

What Holder has conveniently chosen to ignore, though, is the fact that there has also been a simultaneous surge in male-on-male sexual assaults in the military since the repeal of DADT in 2010. As the New York Times, that bastion of liberalism, reported, “According to the Department of Defense’s Military Sexual Assault Report for 2012, an estimated 26,000 members of the United States military, both men and women, were sexually assaulted in that year. The Pentagon survey almost certainly underreports the scale of the issue. Of those sexual assaults, 53 percent (approximately 14,000 in 2012) were attacks on men.”

Moreover, a homosexual military officer only has charge over other adult personnel, not a defenseless child. If the ban on “gay” scoutmasters is lifted, however, parents will be entrusting their helpless children to a potential child predator who could very easily take advantage of such a high-risk arrangement. This is exactly the reason why Girl Scout troops are not lead by adult males. Ultimately, it’s all about protecting our children from possibly dangerous circumstances. And endangering our children just to be politically correct represents the height of horrendous parenting.

The Boy Scout’s policy against “gay” scoutmasters is not prejudice – it’s simply a common sense safety measure intended to protect young boys from the devastating effects of child sexual abuse. We can only hope that the BSA officials won’t eventually cave to the pressure of the homofascist demands when it comes to this critically important matter.
