For the past 22-months, Democrats have held America captive, held hostage by an investigation of President Donald Trump on the allegation that he or his 2016 campaign colluded with Russia to influence the election.
I want to note that the Obama administration knew about the interference of some Russians as early as the summer of 2016, but did nothing to stop it or make it known at the time. They didn’t consider it to be that important and besides, they were certain that Hillary Clinton would win. It wasn’t until the day after the election when everyone learned that Trump had defeated Clinton, that suddenly, the Russian election interference became a big deal. Thanks to a dossier prepared largely from unverified posts on a CNN public website and paid for by the Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee, the Russian election interference was blamed on collusion with Trump or members of this campaign.
Now that the Mueller investigation is finally over, we know that Mueller reported there was no evidence of any collusion between Trump or members of his campaign and the Russians.
In the wake of the final report, President Trump has called for a reverse investigation – an investigation of those who investigated him. Additionally, the Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, Lindsey Graham (R-SC), has announced that he is investigating Christopher Steele, the Democrats who financed the dossier and the anti-Trump employees in the FBI who conspired to undermine the Trump presidency.
Most all of the other responses to Attorney General William Barr’s summation of the Mueller report has been given by Democrats and the sewagestream media who don’t want to accept the truth, but insist there is still something, anything hidden in Mueller’s report that could be used against Trump.
Chances are, you’ve heard few, if any responses from the conservative side, so here is what the President of Judicial Watch, Tom Fitton had to say about the results of the Muller probe:
“The long, national nightmare is over and President Trump has been vindicated. The corruptly-created and constitutionally abusive Mueller investigation failed to find any evidence to support the big lie that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government.”
“We’re pleased that AG Barr rejected Mueller’s attempt to smear President Trump with obstruction of justice innuendo by concluding that no such charges could be credibly sustained. Frankly, Mueller never had a valid basis upon which to investigate President Trump for obstruction of justice.”
“Let’s be clear, neither Mueller, the Obama FBI, DOJ, CIA, State Department, nor the Deep State ever had a good-faith basis to pursue President Trump on Russia collusion. Russia collusion wasn’t just a hoax, it is a criminal abuse, which is why Judicial Watch has fought and will continue to fight for Russiagate documents in federal court.”
“The targeting of President Trump served to protect Hillary Clinton and her enablers/co-conspirators in Obama administration from prosecution. Attorney General Barr can begin restoring the credibility of the Justice Department by finally initiating a thorough investigation of the Clinton emails and related pay-to-play scandals and the abuses behind the targeting of President Trump.”
I totally agree with Fitton in his call for Barr to fully investigate Hillary Clinton’s email scandal and her pay-to-play actions while serving as Secretary of State. One can only hope that Barr will do the right thing and hold those who tried to illegally and unethically persecute and prosecute Trump, legally accountable for their actions. It’s time to stop the double standard that was established during the Obama reign of terror.
