Alex Jones and InfoWars just got deleted from the internet, almost.
Some of you may have noticed an eerie lack of content emanating from my fingertips in the past months. I have been seriously pondering the ramifications of continuing my battle against progressivism and the Big Tech stranglehold on the flow of information on the internet while actually being on the internet myself.
Every jot and tittle is recorded, forever. It seems to me that I am leaving a trail that could one day get me thrown in jail once the Bible is legally deemed “hate speech.”
Satan is the prince of the power of the air and engaging him over the very airwaves he controls seems less than wise.
But, fear didn’t stop Paul, Peter, Stephen or any of the other martyrs for the cause of Christ, so onward I go!
The war for the soul of America rages on and I will not shrink from the battle.
And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience… (Ephesians 2:1-2)
Recently, a new salvo from the progressive Left has resulted in the deplatforming of InfoWars and it’s Founder Alex Jones. Facebook, Apple, YouTube, Spotify, Pinterest and others all banned InfoWars within 12 hours of each other.
No specific reasons were given, no specific content was cited as a violation of the platforms’ Terms of Service. They simply pulled the plug—citing generic “hate speech” violations.
Make no mistake saints, this is a coordinated attack against any speech that dissents from the progressive norms.
How does this affect us as Christians?
If you value your ability to preach the Word of God, opine publicly and engage in intellectual and spiritual discourse you must defend all speech, not just the speech of those with whom you agree.
Join me in prayer, fellow patriots, that the Lord will provide a platform online for Conservatives, Christians and those who would welcome open dialogue.
Christ is coming soon and we must continue to speak the truth as per The Great Commission, whether we get deplatformed, banned, scourged and mocked or not.
