NCU Requires Permit to Evangelize

The Great Commission declared illegal without a permit in North Carolina State University.

If you’re walking in the Student Union at North Carolina State you can talk about your fraternity, invite students to the chess club, hand out leaflets to the socialist group, but what you can’t do is talk about Jesus without a permit.

In September 2015, Grace Christian Life, a registered student group at NC State, was told that without a permit, they must stop approaching other students inside the student union to engage in religious discussions or invite them to attend group events.

Grace Christian Life is suing the school and its president, Hannalee Alrutz, stated, “The only permit a student needs to speak on campus is the First Amendment.”
