An organization of pediatricians and another involving churches have requested the Alabama Supreme Court to resist the Supreme Court’s lawless, same-sex marriage decision.

“It is in the best interest of children in this state to preserve the unchangeable nature of marriage between one man and one woman,” said the American College of Pediatricians, which is dedicated to caring for children.

It goes on to say, “If accepted it will deliberately and intentionally deny children the father or mother so essential to their well-being. This court should also be reminded that the Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the land. Supreme Court Justice swear an oath to uphold this Constitution, not invent a new one.”
