4 New Reasons to Celebrate Freedom on July 4th

Here are four reasons to celebrate this Fourth of July:

1. Corporations like Hobby Lobby still have the religious freedom to refuse to pay for birth control and abortion-causing contraception.

2. The Supreme Court struck down the “bubble-zone” law which had gagged free speech within 45 feet of an abortion clinic.

3. By a 9-0 vote, the Supreme Court struck down three of President Obama’s “recess appointments”–reigning in some of his unchecked power. And,

4. The U.S. House of Representatives voted to add President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s D-Day prayer to the World War II Memorial. The vote to approve it by the Senate was unanimous. The vote in the House: 370-12.

As you watch the fireworks, pray for more victories for our freedoms.
