House Passes Bill Reducing Taxpayer Funding for Abortion

The House recently passed HR 7, which is known as “No taxpayer Funding for Abortion and Abortion Insurance Full Disclosure Act” Which is a very encouraging thing for those of us who are pro-life.

Holly Meade: Well Matt, this is an exciting thing and an encouraging thing as far as, for the sanctity of human life that the House has recently passed. This HR 7 makes the Hyde Amendment permanent and it also protects Americans of conscience by requiring the full disclosure of abortion coverage in Obamacare, so that they can make informed decisions about their health care plans.

Matt Barber: Yea, it’s very encouraging that the Senate is expected to likewise pass it and President Trump has promised that he will sign it into law. The Hyde Amendment, as you mentioned, has been around for many, many years and has temporarily prevented the federal government from compelling people to help contribute to abortions through taxpayer dollars…
