Faith and Freedom with Liberty Counsel’s Mat Staver and Holly Meade, and BarbWire’s Matt Barber… An 11-minute weekday radio program discussing hot topics in the area of religious liberty, the sanctity of human life and the family.
Christians are claiming significant victory against radical Islam in its biblical homeland, in Iraq. They actually are now able to worship in burned out churches. A mind-blowing Bible translation is now available reducing from 20 – 40 years to translate the Bible in a person’s language, to now just a couple of weeks.
Mat Staver: Matt, the picture that we’re looking at right now are two Kurdish soldiers. One of them has his head down on an altar. It is burned out. It is full of black soot. There’s some candles there that are burning. This is a burned out church that ISIS destroyed and now ISIS is no longer in this particular place. They have been run out and these people now are able to go to this church for the first time. It’s a charred building inside. But they’re worshipping for the first time.
Matt Barber: What a visual metaphor and the whole fact that they are back in this burned out church — the grand immaculate church it’s called — near Mosul in Iraq…
