Obama DOJ Ducks Tape

The president isn’t just refusing to say the words “radical Muslim,” he’s forbidding Americans from hearing them! That was the astonishing revelation from U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch, who said over the weekend that the FBI will be releasing the transcripts from the Orlando gunman — with one glaring exception.

The Justice Department is taking the unusual step of censoring the Islamist’s references to ISIS. “We are not going to hear him make his assertions of allegiance [to the Islamic State],” Lynch told NBC’s Chuck Todd. “What we’re not going to do is further proclaim this man’s pledges of allegiance to terrorist groups, and further his propaganda.”

Obviously, the administration would rather further its own propaganda and continue pumping out misinformation on gun control and homosexuality. As the hostages themselves have said, this gunman (who may have been gay himself) revered the Boston marathon bombers and said repeatedly that he “carried out the shooting to prevent [America’s bombings in Syria].” “I did it for the Islamic State,” he was reportedly heard saying. But instead of acknowledging those ties, the administration would rather fan the flames of the LGBT activist and anti-Second Amendment crowds — using a horrific tragedy as an excuse to ignore America’s real threats and push its own radical agenda.

Even President Obama admitted that the Orlando killer invoked ISIS, but in his desperate attempt to control the narrative, he claims there is no real connection. He’d rather turn the deaths of 49 people into a political opportunity, blaming weak gun control laws, sexual prejudice, and conservative Christians. Now that DOJ is openly editing the gunman’s words on the 911 transcript, the administration is only facilitating those inflammatory lies. And who wins when we turn our backs on the real enemy? The terrorists.

** Note: As the Update was being transmitted, we heard unconfirmed reports that the pressure from the public has apparently led the administration to reconsider its position on the redacting of references to ISIS and Islam.
