Tennessee House Passes Resolution Against the Supreme Court 5-4 Marriage Opinion
(1 min Audio Report – Freedom’s Call)
The Tennessee House has just passed a resolution against the Supreme Court’s 5-4 opinion regarding marriage.
An overwhelming number of legislators in Tennessee have now passed a resolution stating that the Supreme Court’s 5-4 opinion regarding marriage is against the will of the legislature and against the people of Tennessee.
More than 80% of the state’s citizens approved a constitutional amendment regarding marriage as between one man and one women.
The legislature then passed three bills affirming the same thing. Both were completely ignored when the beliefs of five lawyers on the Supreme Court issued an opinion. In fact, two counties in Tennessee have filed lawsuits to stop their clerks from issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples.
Pray for Tennessee and other legislators around the country as we continue to fight for marriage and freedom.
