LGBT in St. Patrick’s Parade

“It’s contemptible.”

Those words from Bill Donohue of the Catholic League regarding the inclusion of homosexual marchers in the New York City St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

Homosexual activists, who have been protesting the parade for 25 years, now marched carrying a banner which read “Lavender & Green Alliance.”

But groups including the Catholic League have left the parade, pointing out that if homosexuals are allowed to march under their own banners, so should other groups including pro-life organizations.

In 2014, Mayor Bill de Blasio refused to march in the parade as long as homosexual activists were excluded. Mayor Bill de Blasio commented, “I think it sends a moral signal.”

Sadly, the signal that it sends is immoral.
