LC Defends Religious Freedom against ACLU in NC

(1 min Audio Report – Freedom’s Call)

Liberty Counsel has requested to intervene to defend a law in North Carolina that provides protection for magistrate judges who choose not to give marriage licenses to same sex couples.

The first time the ACLU filed the lawsuit, Liberty Counsel filed to intervene and then the ACLU dismissed its suit.

They refiled again, and now we’re back to defend.

The Attorney General of that state responsible for defending the law has publicly opposed it.

Liberty Counsel initially encouraged the legislators to pass this law in response to our request that the state protect the rights of judges and others who issue marriage licenses.

Please stand with us in pray so the ACLU will not strip away religious freedom of the citizens of North Carolina.
