Governor Sues Planned Parenthood for Doing Abortions Without a License
(1 min Audio Report – Freedom’s Call)
Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin has filed a lawsuit against the state’s chapter of Planned Parenthood with charges of operating an abortion facility and conducting 23 abortions without a license.
The former Inspector General allegedly gave an improper, retroactive permission to the abortion facility after it already started performing abortions.
But such permission has no legal foundation.
Governor Bevin said, “This administration will have no tolerance for the type of brazen disregard that Planned Parenthood has shown for both the safety of women and the rule of law.”
If found guilty, the fines could range from $500 to $10,000 per abortion. Planned Parenthood says that they have suspended all abortion activity in Kentucky.
