Majority of Raped Mothers Choose to Keep Their Baby
(1 min Audio Report – Freedom’s Call)
In an Irish study, only one in three women who became pregnant as a result of rape chose to abort their child. The majority, 54%, chose to keep their baby.
The rest includes miscarriages, adoption, and 1% in foster homes.
While polls show that the majority of Ireland wants abortion legal in the cases of rape and incest, it seems that the victims themselves have a different view: one that values the life of their child and does not punish their child for the illegal actions of the father.
Each person’s value is not based on who their parents are, but is intrinsic because they are created in the image of God.
