“The questions that have been asked so far in this debate illustrate why the American people don’t trust the media.”
Those words from Senator Ted Cruz in Wednesday’s CNBC Presidential Debate.
Cruz continued, “This is not a cage match, and you look at the questions, ‘Donald Trump, are you a comic book villain?’ ‘Ben Carson, can you do math?‘ ‘John Kasich will you insult two people over here?…How about talking about the substantive issues people care about?”
It seems the American people agreed. When Senator Cruz finished his statement, focus groups pollster Frank Luntz tweeted that people responded with the highest score they have ever measured.
Brent Bozell from the Media Research Center said, “The CNBC debate will go down in history as an encyclopedic example of liberal media bias on stage.”
