Student Fights School to Start a Pro-Life Club
(1 min Audio Report – Freedom’s Call)
A Las Vegas school has denied and ignored a high school sophomore who wanted to start a pro-life club affiliated with Students for Life.
The student, Angelique Clark, has been waiting for six months with more than double the amount of interested students necessary to start a club. The school has run out of excuses stating that the club is too controversial, or it’s not inclusive enough. Even stating that she’s not qualified to lead the club because there are other people more qualified to talk about abortion than she is.
The school received a letter demanding the censorship stop, which it ignored. So now Clark is suing to remind the school of her constitutional rights.
