Liberty Counsel Delivers Planned Parenthood Petitions to Congress

Liberty Counsel hand-delivered over 25,000 petitions asking Congress to investigate and defund Planned Parenthood. More petitions are being signed and will be delivered later this week.

“It is sad that it took the selling of baby organs to awaken the conscience of Americans to the slaughter of several thousand babies who are brutally murdered each day in abortuaries,” said Mat Staver, Founder and Chairman of Liberty Counsel.

“It is evil and barbaric to kill innocent children. It is criminal to sell their body parts. We are aghast at the casual disregard for human life we have witnessed in the most horrible genocides. We wonder how people can become so depraved. Now we see that same callous depravity in America. We must end this bloody and brutal chapter in American history.”

“Planned Parenthood has never been about healthcare. From the beginning, Margaret Sanger wanted to get rid of people she considered ‘undesirable,’ whether they were black, poor, had low IQs, or were inconvenient. We must not only defund Planned Parenthood at every level, but those involved in selling human body parts should be prosecuted. The slaughter of innocent children must stop,” said Staver.

Liberty Counsel’s petition states:

“In the wake of the recent undercover videos once again exposing the horrific and immoral practices of PPH, the idea that a taxpayer-funded organization like PPH would seek revenue from the body parts of unborn children is beyond barbaric – it is criminal!

“That’s why, as a concerned American citizen, I am calling on the United States Congress to fully and thoroughly investigate the practices and procedures of Planned Parenthood, and put an end to all federal funding of Planned Parenthood!”
