Stop Blaming Trump – It’s Your Own Fault!

By Jack from Manhattan

Ever since Donald Trump announced his candidacy for president, the political class and a lot of the pundit class has been foaming at the mouth to denounce him the loudest.

All because during his announcement, he said:

“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. … They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems to us,” said Trump, who defended his comments on Monday. “They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, some are good people!”

We’ve heard everything from “it’s insensitive” to “it’s racist.” The political class and the open borders activists are out to ruin Trump for daring to make this assertion. The problem for all the sanctimonious Trump bashers: what Trump said is true on the merits.

That’s right, folks; there are a lot of criminals sneaking in amongst those who are coming into our country. Imagine the horror on the faces of all the “smart” people when Trump’s comments were vindicated by the shooting death of 32-year-old Kate Steinle in San Francisco (a city long-known for harboring illegal aliens from enforcement of our immigration laws).

The problem the GOP has now is that Trump is leading in the polls. In spite of their best efforts to delegitimize him and blame him for souring people to the GOP, people are telling pollsters they support Trump. Let’s be clear: this is not in any way going to translate into people actually voting to make him president. Rather, this is a vote of no-confidence against the GOP, which has in recent years become every bit as hostile to full enforcement of immigration laws as the Democrats.

Trump is resonating with people because everyone knows both parties are lying and enabling illegal immigration. The political class has a vested interest in importing as many 3rd world people into America as possible: the Democrats want poor, illiterate people on welfare because that grows the apparatus of the government and makes for good voters to perpetuate the socialism Democrats are enamored with. For the GOP, they want the cheap labor for their friends in Big Business and to placate donors such as the Chamber of Commerce (who seem to have morphed into La Raza).

The American people are tired of politics as usual because we all know politics as usual means law-abiding citizens get the shaft from government, who looks to prop up their cronies and the bought-off class. Too many people look at immigration and notice all the special protections that politicians to afford to immigrants that they as citizens would never get.

Imagine the concept of sanctuary cities but for people who don’t want to participate in the sham of same-sex “marriage” or for people who want to homeschool their kids without being harassed by busybodies who look to take their kids away from them. That would never happen because Christians and homeschoolers are not only not protected classes, it’s perfectly okay to use the hammer of the state to smash them because what sane person would engage in those behaviors. People who fervently subvert immigration laws so they can get all the perks of being an American without any of the effort, on the other hand, are given special status and any criticism of their actions is deemed illegitimate.

Donald Trump is Public Enemy #1 because he exposed the corrupt politicos and their abject refusal to enforce immigration laws.

Republicans get the majority in the Senate because they promise to stop Obama’s lawless “deferred action” to shield illegals from their well-deserved deportation. They get the majority, Mitch McConnell gets the gavel, and ten minutes later we get all kinds of excuses about why we can’t stop Obama’s lawlessness. “We can’t defund DHS because that would cause a government shutdown and the media will say bad things about us!” Then Obama gets away with his flagrant contempt for the rule of law and voters who want no part of it wonder why we waste our time getting the vote out for Republicans.

The rest of the presidential field is divided on how to handle Trump. A tip for you: if you denounce Trump on this issue, you’re denouncing millions of Americans who want a sealed border and in many cases, actually want lower numbers of immigrants. So far, politicians associated with the position to refuse to enforce immigration laws (Bush, Christie, Rubio, Perry) have come out and denounced Trump for being ugly, hateful, and divisive. The only people who have defended Trump or at least not trashed him in the Left’s language are Cruz and Santorum, whose rhetoric on immigration is more to the liking of the base.

The worse thing for people like Reince Priebus, Karl Rove, and the rest of the political class is their presupposition that the only way for the GOP to win in 2016 and beyond is to let the lawbreakers get away with breaking the law, and subsequently accept the accusations of racism for thinking otherwise is that the candidate who says otherwise is surging in the polls. They also told us we need to limit the debates to keep out the clowns and fake candidates, but the one fake candidate is polling so well, he will be on the stage while actual candidates will be kept off.

Once again, the GOP shot themselves in the foot with their attempt to rig the outcome of the primaries and they have no one to blame but themselves.
