Just Say No: Measure 91-A ‘Bad Trip’
(1 min Audio Report – Faith2Action)
While the people of Oregon experiment with putting marijuana on the ballot, New York Times columnist, Maureen Dowd, wrote about her experiment with marijuana while visiting Colorado, where it is legal.
She sat in her hotel room nibbling on the legalized marijuana in the form of an edible chocolate-flavored bar. In an hour, she could barely make it from the desk to the bed where she said she “curled up in a hallucinatory state for the next eight hours.”
“I had been convinced that I had died and no one was telling me,” said Dowd.
Pittsburg columnist Mackenzie Carpenter said her Colorado taste-test sent her to the Boulder emergency room.
There’s no need to experiment, tell your friends in Oregon, Vote no on Measure 91–it’s a bad trip.
