Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.) clearly got under MSNBC host Rachel Maddow’s skin on Tuesday night when he accused her of being a “cheerleader” for the Obama administration instead of a journalist. While discussing the security failures leading up to the deadly attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Huelskamp argued then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton failed to request security enhancements. The administration “let our troops down,” he added. “We need more answers there, we need answers about a lot of things,” the congressman told Maddow. “This administration promised to be the most transparent in history, Rachel, and I think if you would stop being a cheerleader and be a journalist, you’d recognize we’re not getting those answers.”
