Major changes in U.S.-Israel relations

Barb Wire

President Obama is on the verge of another major foreign policy failure, once again making Israel the target of incoherent and treacherous attacks.

Please see my update on the Obama administration’s rumored sanctions — and how Liberty Counsel is intensifying our support of Israel.

While President Obama’s latest foreign policies include “normalizing relations” with Cuba and “empowering” Iran, he is also reportedly considering sanctions against Israel.

A report from Haaretz, an Israeli newspaper, claims Israeli sources have leaked that, “White House officials held a classified discussion a few weeks ago about the possibility of taking active measures against the settlements” in the so-called “disputed territories.”

Trending: Wake Up Christians – Silence Is Not An Option

President Obama is reportedly fuming over Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s dismissal of the Obama administration’s expressed desire that Israel cease expansion in the settlements. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest sidestepped the rumors when confronted about their validity if enacted, this would be a horrific mistake by the administration.

We will be watching the Obama administration’s actions toward Israel and I promise we will take action when triggered to do so.  Be assured: We stand united with Israel.

Liberty Counsel is among the foremost pro-Israel organizations in America — and we are growing

Along with Liberty Counsel’s current outreach to Israel, Liberty Ambassador Counsel, we are pleased that Christians in Defense of Israel (CIDI) has now merged with Liberty Counsel.

CIDI was founded by Dr. Ed Hindson, the Dean of the School of Religion and Distinguished Professor of Theology at Liberty University. We will now advance our impactful outreach to Israel covering the name of Christians in Defense of Israel.

This merger makes Liberty Counsel’s CIDI outreach one of America’s largest Christian, pro-Israel organizations.

God’s timing is perfect for this partnership. Supporting Israel and advancing U.S.- Israel relations is paramount in our 2015 goals.

If you are among the tens of thousands of advocates of supporting Israel within the Liberty Counsel family, I am asking you to make a special financial gift today. Click here  to give a gift of any amount to help support our pro-Israel initiatives and our other vital work.

If America wants to be blessed, we must bless Israel…

There is a biblical principal that we, as Americans, must heed.  God told Abraham, the father of the nation of Israel… “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12:3 (NIV)

That command and its associated promise is among the reasons we choose to honor Israel.

America and Israel are linked in God’s economy.

The fault line of Western civilization runs through Israel, and the epicenter is Jerusalem. We strongly affirm Jerusalem as being Israel’s God-ordained, undivided capital.

Radical Islamic Jihadists call Israel the “Little Satan” and refer to America as the “Big Satan.” Israel and America share Judeo-Christian values and consequently have shared the burden of threats to those values. Right now, among the greatest dangers to the people of Israel is the intensifying rhetoric of radical Islamists whose goal is to eradicate the Jews living in Israel.

This is a crucially important season for the American people to stand with Israel.
