ISIS just released a new propaganda video showing what appear to be Kurdish Peshmerga fighters in cages. Militant Islamists are parading the men down the streets of Iraq, according to CNN.
Although CNN cannot independently verify the authenticity of the video, the disturbing footage shows 21 men wearing orange outfits similar to jail jumpsuits being transported on pickup truck beds.
“A man with a microphone bearing the ISIS logo interviews some of the captives, who say they are Peshmerga soldiers,” CNN reports. “Most of those interviewed say they are from Kirkuk. The prisoners, under duress, call on their fellow Peshmerga soldiers to give up their fight against ISIS.”
According to Reuters, Kurdish forces assisted by Iraqi Peshmerga forces and almost daily air strikes by the U.S.-led coalition drove out the ultra radical Sunni insurgents in late January and took back the town, which is now in ruins.

The video shows clips from recent beheadings of 21 Coptic Christians and flashes biographies of each caged captive. ISIS claims one is an Iraqi army prisoner.
“We say to the Peshmerga: Leave your jobs, or your fate will be like these, either the cage, or under the ground,” a man in the video says in Kurdish.
Let’s keep praying against principalities and powers and against the rulers of the darkness of this world and against spiritual forces of evil in heavenly places. And let’s pressure our government to protect our borders and stop these hateful Islamic campaigns before the terrorists commit such acts on our land.
