On June 3rd I did a commentary entitled “Bruce is Still Male” where I compared Bruce Jenner’s game of pretend to someone who might pretend they were black.

I made the point that “identifying” as African American or changing the look of your skin wouldn’t qualify you for a scholarship from the NAACP.

Today it has come out that Rachel Dolezal had to step down as NAACP chapter president because she did just that.

Calling herself “Trans-racial,” she claimed to be black. Was that accepted as fact?

Matt Lauer from the Today show asked Dolezal, “When did you start deceiving people?”

Why do we recognize deception when it comes to race, but not when it comes to gender?
