After demanding Houston pastors turn in their sermons, Houston’s lesbian activist Mayor Annise Parker is now claiming that the pastors have no right to a jury trial.

Even though the city secretary validated the signatures necessary to put the Houston so-called “Bathroom Bill” on the ballot, Mayor Parker, with the help of the city attorney, have prevented a vote.  It would allow the people to vote on whether men, dressed as women could use women’s public restrooms and showers.

Pastor Steve Riggle, one of the “Houston 5” whose sermons were subpoenaed, said, “In addition to taking away the constitutional voting rights of over one million people in Houston, the mayor is now attempting to take away our constitutional right to a jury trial.”

Its time to recall the Houston Mayor.
