The concept of evolution is permeating seminaries and the Church and some leading pastors are buying this line. It ultimately affects worldview and certainly your understanding of the historical nature of the scriptures. We’re going to be talking about it on Faith and Freedom.
Mat Staver: Well, there’s an organization called BioLogos — b-i-o-l-o-g-o-s — all one word. And it is an organization that was founded sometime around 2009. They had a meeting in 2012 of various kinds of pastors. And some of the main pastors that you may know are part of this organization.
It supports a concept of full, human evolution, but tries to reconcile it with the Bible. Basically it’s theistic evolution. Evolution occurred, but God was behind it.
