Norton Security Software Backs Down from Blocking Websites Supporting Traditional Values

Norton Security Software, the antivirus software company, owned by Symantec, blocked users from the Liberty Counsel website, now [has] backed down and, after their review states “This website is not a website categorized as hate.” We’re going to be talking about it on Faith and Freedom.
Mat Staver: Well, several weeks ago, Matt, one of our supporters, with regards to an email that we sent out announcing the lawsuit against Guidestar, because Guidestar had slapped the label of “hate group” on 46 non-profit organizations on its website, including Liberty Counsel.
That email was sent out announcing the lawsuit, and one of our supporters clicked on it and what he found was this notice from Norton — he had Norton Security Software on his computer. And it says:
This website is not allowed. It has a circle and a diagonal line through it. www.lc.org It says “This website is categorized as Hate and is blocked as part of this network’s web content filtering policy. If you think this website is categorized incorrectly, click here.”…
