Tomi Lahren, Abortion is Murder…Period.
If you read through Tomi Lahren’s recent tweets in response to all this, you can see that she lacks humility based on the lack of understanding of what it means to be Conservative. It takes humility to take a few steps back and reevaluate the core principles of our position. I don’t see that happening here, and people will make excuses for a multitude of reasons.
While the second order questions of life can be negotiable, there are first order principles and values that are not. We can get to the bottom of these things when we actually take the time to read, study and understand the Constitution. Conservatism is based on a set of core non negotiable principles and values, and the protection of the most vulnerable and innocent Life is at its core.
She is also wrong about the Constitution. The Declaration of Independence, which is the premise of the Constitution recognizes the value of innocent Life. Also the 5th and 14th Amendments do so as well. As far as the government telling people what they can do with their bodies. The government only started doing that in 1973 when Roe v Wade was passed. Now abortion is an issue forced on the public good and the government is telling people it is okay to exterminate babies. Killing babies becomes everybody’s business once the government became involved in permiting it through Roe vs Wade and then helping to further promote it through the means of funding our tax dollars to Plannned Genocide (a.k.a. Planned Parenthood).
(Just a side note here: Wouldn’t/shouldn’t the title “Planned PARENTHOOD” logically be about help in raising children and never include the option of killing them?)
The right to Life should be fought for on all levels, and it is Constitutional to do so. The 10th Amendment only applies to issues that are not otherwise covered in the Constitution, like marriage. So it’s not just a state’s rights issue. The right to Life, however, is mentioned in the premise for the Constitution (the Declaration of Independence) as well as in both the 5th and 14th Amendments of the Constitution…all on the side of life. If life starts at conception, then killing babies (abortion) is completely and entirely unconstitutional.
Also, the following information may help in establishing a more solid foundation in Conservatism. The first pillars of limited government and the Constitution is Life and family. Read more about that here:
Tomi Lahren also claims that she would be a hypocrite if she said she was for limited government, but not allowing people to kill their babies in womb. That statement by default implies that pro-Life Conservatives are hypocrites. She fails to see that this is an obvious implication.
She also tweeted a statement about “her truth” and expressing “her truth.” This statement buys into and propagates what is called moral relativism, which is typically espoused by the very Leftist liberal snowflakes she has made a career of calling out. Moral relativism denies objective truth. That is, it claims that truth is based solely on subjective feelings. That alone undermines the very foundation of Conservatism. It also is self-defeating. The claim that all truth is relative cannot be true itself if truth is only relative to ones own subjective feelings, as in “my truth” or “your truth” instead of the (objective) truth that transcends our subjective feelings. Moral relativity (the claim that truth is only relative to each person’s subjective feelings, preferences or opinions) is a self defeating concept, because it makes objective truth claims about the nature of morality expressed in his truth or her truth. It would benefit Conservative greatly to study the differences between subjective and objective truth. A great book to read on this subject is C.S. Lewis’s book Mere Christianity.
Tomi, are the unborn carried in the wombs of women less human or not human compared to the unborn carried in the wombs of pro-life women?
As pointed out by others, when a bleeding heart lack of critical thinking Leftst liberal nods and claps in approval to what you believe to be a limited government Constitutional viewpoint, you can bet your life that it isn’t really a limited government Constitutional viewpoint at all.
Last but not least, as Tomi Lahren has yet to show any humility and accuses criticism and backlash of Conservatives of being a closed umbrella, she fails to recognize or respect the fact that these very same Conservatives simply want her to be more than just another pretty face.
And yes, Conservatism is also about humility. Taking the time to recognize that one could be wrong about an issue. Stepping back, reevaluating it, researching further and in more detail why people believe what they believe, and always taking the time to learn the core principles, how to be consistent in them, why it is a positive good for individuals and society and why it matters.
By the look of Tomi Lahren’s recent tweets in response to this backlash she is receiving, she obviously has little to no interest in that. It’s never too late though. Right now, she is unfortunately Read her recent tweets. She is showing no humility and joking that she now has time to watch a little tv.
How seared is the conscience with regards to the most innocent and vulnerable individuals of any human society? Is the fact that they are individual persons and humans just “your truth” or “his or her truth,” or is it THE TRUTH?

Can you please tell us if and when is it okay to kill a baby in the womb?…
Can you honestly watch this too with a clear conscience?…
I have some more questions for Tomi Lahren….
Do you believe a child should be murdered or slaughtered for the crimes of the father?…
Do you believe that the “choice” to kill babies in the womb is actually in all reality pro-woman?…
