Will Rex Tillerson’s State Dept. Keep Pushing a Radical Sexual Agenda?
Sexual imperialism is so 2016. As the Trump administration assumes power, can we please just have a Department of State that conducts U.S. diplomacy around issues that matter?
Many are conflicted about the nomination of Rex Tillerson as Trump’s Secretary of State. Typical of Trump, it’s very creative and infuses executive management skills into a key leadership post. But there are a few red flags.
As head of Exxon, Tillerson oversaw large donations to Planned Parenthood, so will the radical global abortion agenda continue? Pro-life advocates who backed Trump will be quite disturbed if that happens.
And then there’s homosexuality and gender confusion. Tillerson served on the Boy Scout national board when they betrayed America’s boys and extended troop leadership to homosexual males.
Will Tillerson continue the homosexual hijacking of U.S. foreign policy through USAID and the “Global Equality Fund”?
As Secretaries of State, Hillary Clinton and John Kerry both put a wildly distorted emphasis on “LGBT” issues. Who knew this was such a top concern of the world’s masses, rising above worries over food, infectious disease, clean water, corrupt politicians, economic development, jihadist extremism, or religious persecution?
Our state department should focus on rescuing Christians subjected to unjust imprisonment, torture, rape, dismemberment and murder. Religious persecution is rising in Syria, Iraq, Turkey, Sudan, China, North Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Nigeria, Egypt, Iran and all over the globe.
If there are speeches to be made about “human rights,” this is the topic that matters. While no one remembers Hillary or Kerry taking bold stands to defend Christians, recall that Hillary brazenly declared, “Gay rights are human rights and human rights are gay rights,” in a 2011 speech.
But, no, they are not. Men in wigs and feather boas may play well in Rio, but are really not the top priority in North Africa, the Middle East and southeast Asia.
Homosexual sex is disease-ridden, anatomically-dysfunctional, immoral behavior. We cannot, if we care about our children and the future of sane civilization, continue the road to normalizing this conduct.
But if Tillerson was blind to the dangers of adult homosexual males leading boys, will he be comfortable continuing the moral abuses of Clinton/Kerry diplomacy?
Two specifics need to be watched closely. One is the USAID program. Obama enacted – without Congress, of course –a new rule in October 2016 to purge faithful Christian belief from U.S. worldwide outreach. He announced that organizations that contract with USAID must not “discriminate” against people based on “sexual orientation and gender identity.”
In other words, authentic Christian principles must be betrayed in order to serve poor, diseased, displaced and suffering people.
Will the Trump administration rescind this bigoted, charity-denying, sin-affirming policy? Or will Christian-affiliated mission groups be barred from service to the disadvantaged of the world unless they endorse sodomy?
A second concern is the unethical Global Equality Fund started by Hillary Clinton . It’s a pro-homosexual fund operated out of the State Department, despite the lack of congressional authority. There is no mandate from the American people for U.S. worldwide endorsement of sodomy and gender confusion.
The GEF, in its own words,
… empowers Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Intersex (LGBTI) persons to live freely and exercise their rights without fear of discrimination or abuse. The GEF provides critical resources and diplomatic support to civil society organizations (CSOs) and human rights defenders working to advance and protect the rights of LGBTI persons in over eighty countries.
But no, these are hardly “critical” resources and in fact, very destructive.
Partners in the GEF include the Human Rights Campaign, Deloitte LLP, Hilton Worldwide, the Royal Bank of Canada, and the countries of Chile, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, the Netherlands, Norway, Sweden and Uruguay.
And there’s another partner whose name people may recall. The Arcus Foundation, founded by Jon Stryker, heir of a medical device company, is a GEF partner. The executive director is Kevin Jennings . Yes, that same Jennings who started the youth corruption group GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network. Jennings was Obama’s controversial safe schools “czar” from 2009 to 2011.
The Global Equality Fund drives critical resources to LGBT communities around the world. It brings high level commitment from the U.S. government and has unlocked new resources that otherwise may never have reached the community. This kind of cross-sector collaboration is central to the advancement of LGBT global movements.
Do you want to “advance LGBT global movements”? No, I don’t either. This is not the mission of U.S. foreign policy, this is not authorized by Congress, and our State Department should not be the tool to arm-twist vulnerable third-world countries into policy endorsement of same sex “marriage” and homosexual behavior.
This coercion is implemented by Randall Berry, the U.S. State Department “special envoy for the human rights of LGBTI persons.” This position needs to be eliminated.
The advocates claim the sin-affirming State Department campaign is needed to quell violence committed against homosexuals in countries where it’s still illegal. But exaggeration is not unknown to local and global homosexual activist groups, and violent acts are virtually always a punishable crime in these countries.
But a disingenuous narrative removes the focus from the depravity of these behaviors and turns the spotlight on critics.
The obvious solution is to launch educational campaigns to teach those with same sex attractions about the hope of change, as many ex-homosexuals and ex-transgenders in the U.S. have discovered.w
If you no longer engage in these behaviors, the risks of mistreatment – not to mention disease– drop dramatically, right?
Another possible motive for this activism is to increase the member nations voting at the U.N. for leftist policies, proposals that are becoming increasingly fascist.
So will Tillerson halt this foolish agenda? Let’s hope that his leadership brings a focus on true, rather than phony, human rights.
