Presidential Choices 101: Lies, Corruption and Scandals Do Not a President Make!
This is a freshman level course, but all Americans are eligible to take this course as a remedial if they have missed the obvious.
What is obvious is that a vote for Hillary Clinton is a vote for your own future as well as hers. The probes and questions will not stop in the very near future and the ominous cloud of a possible criminal indictment will hang over the entire nation – not just the Whitehouse.
Should outgoing Barack Obama wipe her slate clean with a stroke of his pen and offer her a pardon, we will always doubt both him and her – is this any way to start a presidency?
A pardon is just another way of thwarting the will of the people, something most Americans are quite sick of at this point.
It is why we are interested in rough around the edges Donald Trump. It is old school. It is respecting those who respect us. It is America – check it!
The corruption the Clintons are entangled in becomes all the more believable because now we see Hillary entangled with the greatest of all corruptions – the absolute corruption of absolute power. More than a familiar adage for her – it is the goal of her life.
Hillary seems to expect us to make her past invisible while she calls women, Hispanics, immigrants, and anyone who will listen, to imagine an America where they are not included if Trump gets elected.
She appeals to the basest emotions like a gunslinger prodding his opponent to draw. The regard for life, peace and civility is gone, only bloodlust and defeat are what is left.
What Hillary seems to miss is that we want what is best for our country – not what is best for her. She has already had the best of everything for years.
Hillary is not directly affected by 20 trillion in debt, failing schools, ravaging crime and drug use, looming terrorism and a sickening moral decline that is sucking in the minds of our youth like a deadly whirlpool.
Anyone who can draw a $750K fee for speaking and then offer a pack of lies in her speeches to us has used up her privilege in the eyes of everyday Americans – why should we ask her to stay on as President?
She has ridden the wave of success and popularity about as far as it will carry her – this wave is about to break on the shore. It is natural; it is OK – for us and her.
Hillary has had her run, if we prolong it, we will pay the same price for her indiscretions as her – America will be under investigation, scrutiny and the eye of the Almighty himself.
“Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit.” – Ecclesiastes 7: 8
